Local Market Update July 2015

By Sarah Magnano

It’s been another busy month for the office of Ray White Cheltenham. The talk of the town is the real estate market and how hot it is, how long it will last and what effects the Chinese market will have on our market here. These discussions are being held in cafes, around the dining room table and in vendors lounge rooms on a regular basis. All will unfold in the coming months but one thing we know for sure the spring market will be busy and we are excited about the coming months

Malcolm Whiston has joined the team and hit the road running this month. Deb had some great results during the month in particular with her Plummer Road, Mentone auction, she also listed well for the month and will have a busy few months ahead of her too. Sam also had a good listing month and is well primed for a busy spring time. As usual Kevin was a standout for the month of August and had some great auction results.

The rental department was busy as usual with Raffina joining our team and the team focusing on the usual KPI’s of arrears, routine inspections, rent reviews, maintenance and leasing. It may not sound exciting but it is such an integral part of our service to landlords and tenants. These daily tasks are paramount to a good management strategy.

Until next month
